Joe P. Moore Jr., CLU, ChFC, RFC, MRFC is a Financial Planner and Investment Advisor Representative of Osaic Wealth Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor and Broker-Dealer. Joe is also the President and Managing Partner of Strategic Alliance Financial Advisors Inc. A 36-year Million Dollar Round Table* level professional, Joe has spent his entire career in Southern California. Joe is a Financial Planner with emphasis on personal retirement and benefit planning, family business succession and high level estate planning.

Prior to this, Joe spent thirty years developing and managing several large insurance and investment firms in southern California. His most recent position, prior to his retirement from corporate management, was with Voya Financial Advisors. Previous to that he was a General Agent for National Life, an agency of NL Financial Alliance.  Joe was responsible for a staff of 65 producers and support personnel who provided sophisticated personal and business financial planning advice, products and services to the business and affluent marketplace. Joe, and his staff, had the responsibility of managing over $1.1 billion dollars in personal, corporate and retirement assets. Under Joe's management the agency grew from $900,000 to $2.5 million in revenue. Joe served in this position from 2005 through June 2009. He retired from this position to concentrate on his private practice.

From 1990-2018, Joe provided financial education for his clients and the general public through Financial Management Specialists, a wholly owned consulting firm that provides investment and retirement workshops through local universities, adult schools and governmental agencies.

The classes were sponsored by, or offered through, Chapman University, Long Beach State University, Norwalk-La Mirada and Palos Verdes school districts, Lake Forest and Rancho adult schools.

For the past twenty years his retirement seminars had been attended monthly by the 15,000 member Orange County Employee Retirement Systems, as well as sponsored by such organizations as American Institute of Architects and the Southern California Printers Association.  A member of the Personal Financial Planning Division of AICPA, Joe works with local accounting firms and provides continuing education instruction to its members.

From 1997 through 2005 Joe was the Managing Director for The Mony Group. He built the organization from $125,000 in revenue to over $2.8 million. Prior to this position, Joe was the Regional Vice President for the Orange County office of Cigna Individual Financial Services and sales manager for the Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Ventura branches of Connecticut General. Joe served in those positions from 1979 through mid 1993. From 1993 through 1997, Joe was a personal producing general agent for such companies as Guardian, Acacia and Allmerica Financial

Having the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) and Masters Registered Financial Contultant (MRFC), Joe has served on the executive board of directors for the Los Angeles and Orange County Life Underwriters and Orange County General Agents and Managers Conference with membership in many industry organizations. From 1985-2015 he was an Adjunct Professor for the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. He teaches continuing education courses in financial, estate and business continuity planning for insurance and accounting professionals. Joe was formerly a member of the Estate and Planned Giving Council at Chapman University and Chairman of the Poet Advisory Council of Whittier College. Joe has worked as a consultant with brokers at Dean Witter, Paine Webber and Merrill Lynch.

A 1973 graduate of Whittier College, with advanced degrees from American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Joe is active in civic and philanthropic organizations. He is serving, or has served, on the boards of the Whittier College Alumni Association, Whittier-la Mirada Musical Theater, Shannon Center for the Performing Arts and the Hacienda-La Puente Performing Arts Foundation. Joe is currently on the Board of Trustees for Musical Theater West, one of the oldest non-profit musical theatre production companies in the western United States. 

Joe, a certificated teacher with a lifetime credential from the State of California, and an Eagle Scout, has lived with his wife, Edna, a retired public school principal, and their children in California for over 48 years.
